Your Responsibilities:
- Act as the technical central point of contact and trusted advisor for key accounts
- Identify customer training and consultancy needs
- Assist customers in establishing an internal Center of Excellence for QlikView
- Analyze customer requirements and develop proposals of technical solutions
- Manage projects and customer expectations
- Keen ability to identify the customer’s technical challenges and translate it to selling points
- Work closely with the relevant account manager to identify strategy for maximizing success within an account
- Identify upsell & cross sell opportunities within existing customer base
- Explore requirements for Proof of Concept (SiB) events for new projects within an existing account
- Play an active role in the sales process providing technical support when required
- Identify, resolve and communicate technical and business issues to account management
- Support regional business development activities
- Participate in all appropriate product training and certification to acquire and maintain high product knowledge
- Implement and maintain a QlikTech-specific project methodology
- Contribute to the development and ownership of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) at QlikTech
- Assign and control available resources, internal and external, such that projects are completed in a timely, cost-effective manner and deliver business value
- Define, scope and document business requirements so that those requirements can be constructed for and delivered to the business
Responsible for helping achieve 100% customer satisfaction
- Maintain high quality client relationships
- Corporate liaison for customer issues on as needed basis
Responsible for being a technical expert
- Actively participate in a product area
- Mentor junior staff and assist in the development of technical and business talents
Your Profile:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s. Advanced degree desirable
- 8-10 years experience in relevant Sales support, Marketing and Technical Management Roles
- Technical Account Management Experience in Software Industry is strongly preferred
- Experience in the Business Intelligence Software Industry Strongly Preferred
- Excellent knowledge of systems and application design
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently on complex problems
- Ability to lead team to solve complex technical problems in complex political environments
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an appropriate field
- 5 years of relevant work experience
- Project Management certification in SCRUM, PRINCE2 or similar
- Ability to define and document logical process flows and physical structural requirements from narrative-based business requirements
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Excellent account management skills
- Strong sales and marketing skills including: Needs analysis, positioning, business justification and closing
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
