QlikTech offers many opportunities for both personal and professional growth, and meeting new challenges within QlikTech means many things to many people. For some it's vertical movement, while others prefer to move horizontally to new departments or functions. Many QlikTech employees make geographic changes as well, moving from one country to another, sometimes in the same function and sometimes in a new one. And for some its all three!

In 2003, I started working as a presales consultant for QlikTech in Stockholm. Since then, I have had many interesting sales experiences with companies like Volvo, Swedish Shell, and SKF.

My most memorable moment selling QlikView was when an order was confirmed four hours after I completed a mini sales presentation.

Now QlikTech is giving me the chance to move to Australia to work with our customers and partners in Southeast Asia. Exciting times for me and my family—all thanks to QlikTech!

Joining QlikTech in 2005 as a Business Development Executive, I was looking for a role that would allow me to expand my career at an ambitious level whilst still working in a company that maintained the ‘personal touch’. My role quickly spread into a marketing function and constantly challenged me to meet and exceed people’s expectations. With my personal and professional growth, I jumped at the chance of relocating to Amsterdam and to work for QlikTech Netherlands as Marketing and Business Development Consultant in September 2007.

Shortly after in January 2008, I was offered the role of Marketing Manager and I am now responsible for direct and partner marketing across our region, which encompasses 14 countries. I thrive on the huge responsibility and ownership that I have of the role and whilst it can be utterly scary at times, am chuffed to be able to have an impact on the direction of the Benelux operations and be part of the next best thing. This should keep me quiet for some time!

I’ve been with QlikTech since 2000, when I was part of a three-person team starting up sales for QlikTech North America. After five years of direct sales and indirect sales, marketing, and business development, I moved over to QlikTech International Markets. For three years I was regional partner manager for IM, which provided me the opportunity to recruit, coach, and support resellers and OEM partners across Eastern Europe, the Middle East, South Africa, and India. Now back in Stockholm, I head the financial services sector segment in the Nordic market.

My greatest experience with QlikTech has been all the happy QlikView customers and partners across the world, many of whom have become close friends.

I joined QlikTech in May 2007 as a Customer Support Analyst. One of the things I really like about QlikTech is the way I was welcomed when I joined the company, within a couple of weeks I was made to feel part of the family, something I have not experienced at other companies I have worked.

After nearly two years working in Sweden, In January of 2009 I was delighted to be given the opportunity to relocate to the USA and work for QlikTech North America. In my new role I am helping to develop the support structure in North America, bringing new people on to the team and up to speed as quickly as possible.

This has been great experience and the highlight of my career so far.
