QlikView Expert Services - Technical Architect

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership in Expert services consulting engagements, which will include project work at customer sites
- Design, develop and implement innovative solutions to customer requirements using our QlikView products, with assistance from our internal technical functions
- Maintain current knowledge of QlikView
- Assist in the development of standard reusable “productized” consulting service offerings, including definition of tasks, deliverables and estimates
- Participate in the pre-sales process to understand customer business and technical objectives mapped to product requirements, in order to develop innovative and effective solutions
- Document best practices in developing and deploying QlikView solutions, sharing internally for reuse by customers and partners
- Custom Workshops for specific areas
- Mentor other technical consulting staff
Requirements:
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- At least 6 years’ experience in customer-facing positions as a professional services consultant or engineer, preferably with an Internet or “Big 4” services organization
- Experience with modern software development methodologies, with emphasis on software and hardware architecture & infrastructure design.
- Experience from software application development for Windows.
- A good practical understanding of Web-based application development, including asp and IIS server platforms
- Understanding of computer server architectures, including peripheral interfaces (SCSI, RAID, Ethernet) and multi-processor designs (SMP)
- Experience from a technical lead role for small- or medium-size teams
- Windows Server systems administration skills
- Knowledge in databases, SQL possibly DBA related work
- Familiarity with systems management concepts, processes and standards (e.g. SNMP); capacity/performance management and tuning; and storage and network management
- Understanding of modern IT production data center and Internet (ISP/ASP) hosting operations
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Travel in Sweden and occasionally Nordic countries will be required
- A passion for Business Discovery and Business Intelligence solutions
Meritorious experience
- Good understanding of computer server architectures, including peripheral interfaces (SCSI, RAID, Ethernet) and multi-processor designs (SMP)
- Experience in infrastructure architecture and design of complex distributed systems environments, including failover techniques, recovery/rollback, and application partitioning
- ITIL, MCSE or similar certification would be an advantage
- Experience from Programming in C#/C++/VBA or scripting languages
- Knowledge and Experience from driving/attending projects in supply chain, financial industry or manufacturing.
- Experience from implementing Software Solutions (CRM, ECM and/or Supply Chain)
