The Beginning of your Journey
For all new recruits, the first 90 days at QlikTech are a whirlwind of excitement. As soon as you walk through our door, the company-wide passion for QlikView and QlikTech’s people is tangible. From all directions, colleagues welcome you to the job, and a personal mentor and advisor works with you to lay the groundwork for your success.
After a month on the job, you will travel to our birthplace, Lund, Sweden, for QlikAcademy Introduction Week, an intensive and innovative week of immersion into everything QlikTech: our core values, our product, and our people. The interactive program provides hands-on training in our unique Seeing is Believing sales process, which includes building a QlikView demo.
Every new employee attends QlikAcademy Introduction Week so you’ll learn (and have fun) with people from around the world. Much more than typical training programs, our QlikAcademy programs provide intercultural experiences and global network building. Attendees meet senior leadership and share best practices. By the end of the Introduction Week, you’ll be certified in QlikView Professional and understand our corporate culture.
Because we believe strongly in offering new experiences to people across QlikTech, QlikAcademy trainers are drawn from all over the company. At some point, you just might be one!
Along the Way
Well after you are a QlikTech “newbie,” getting together with colleagues around the world is a regular part of the job.
Every year, we gather all staff for our annual employee summit. We spend the week sharing performance results for the company, discussing goals and strategies for the coming year, and working together to plan new programs. It’s our way to build stronger employee networks across QlikTech – and to reward everyone’s hard work and successes.
Each region also hosts a yearly kick-off to look back at the previous year’s results and ahead to plans for the next 12 months. Never a company for the same old status quo, we change the tone of these events from year to year; some are formal dinners and others more casual team building events.
Beyond the annual company or regional gatherings, working at QlikTech is an international experience, with many opportunities to be part of international teams working on cross-country projects.
