Lars Björk

Lars Björk

CEO

Lars has held several positions as CFO in different industries such as ScandStick and Resurs Finance. He has been responsible for building internal processes and systems as well as for the financial controlling and management in the QlikTech Group. Lars joined QlikTech in 2000 as CFO, and assumed the role of CEO in October, 2007.

Lars has an MBA from the University of Lund, Sweden and a Degree in Engineering from the Technical College in Helsingborg.

John Burris is the Chief Executive Officer and Board member of Sourcefire, Inc., the creator of Snort and a global leader in intelligent cybersecurity solutions. Prior to joining Sourcefire, Burris was a key contributor to the decade of growth achieved by Citrix Systems, serving as senior vice president, during which time the company's annual revenues increased from $400 million to $1.4 billion. Earlier in his career, Burris was vice president and general manager of the Gulf States region for Lucent Technologies. He has also served in various sales and customer service executive capacities for AT&T Corp in Asia Pacific and Europe. Burris graduated Summa Cum Laude from Marshall University, with a bachelor of business administration degree in management and completed an eMBA while at AT&T.

John Gavin, Jr.

Board Member

John Gavin, Jr. brings more than 30 years of financial and operational management experience to the QlikTech Board having most recently served as executive vice president and chief financial officer for BladeLogic, a leading provider of next-generation data center automation software. His work at the Company focused on their initial public offering and rapid growth prior to BladeLogic's acquisition by BMC Software in April 2008.

Prior to joining BladeLogic, John served as the chief financial officer for three public companies: NaviSite, Cambridge Technology Partners (CTP) and Data General Corporation. John spent 12 years at Data General Corporation in a number of roles, including chief financial officer. There he helped reshape the company's infrastructure to return it to profitability prior to its acquisition by EMC. Early in John's career, he spent 10 years at what is today PricewaterhouseCoopers in increasingly senior positions.

John also serves on the board of directors and is the audit chairman of VistaPrint Ltd as well as a member of the board of directors of a privately held ERP and CRM software company. He was previously a member of the board of directors and the audit chairman for Ascential Software. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Providence College.

Bruce Golden

Bruce Golden joined Accel Partners in 1997 and primarily focuses on investments in enterprise software and internet companies, with a particular interest in data management, analytic software, next-generation SaaS and Open Source software companies. Bruce currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors at several private and public companies, including comScore (SCOR), Responsys, and Streambase. Some of the investments that Bruce has been responsible for at Accel include: Ajuba Solutions (acquired by Interwoven, Inc.), eCommerce Industries Inc. (acquired by Insight Venture Partners), Exchange.com (acquired by Amazon.com), Itemfield (acquired by Informatica), Offermatica (acquired by Omniture) and SupportSoft (SPRT).

Prior to joining Accel, Bruce held executive positions at Illustra Information Technologies, Informix Software, and Sun Microsystems.

Bruce holds an MBA from Stanford and a BA from Columbia University.

Deborah Hopkins QlikView

Ms. Hopkins has served as Citi’s Chief Innovation Officer since 2008. Her mission is client-focused innovation. Ms. Hopkins focuses on building partnerships with venture capitalists, start-ups, corporations, universities and thought leaders to support the incubation of emerging technologies in the design, development, and implementation of disruptive customer centric business models. She serves also as Chairman of Citi’s venture capital initiatives. Since joining Citi in 2003, Ms. Hopkins’ previous positions include Chief Operations and Technology Officer, and head of Corporate Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions. She has co-chaired Citi’s women’s initiative, and previously served for five years on the board of directors for Citibank N.A., and Citicorp Holdings, Inc. Prior to joining Citi, Ms. Hopkins was CFO at Boeing, CFO at Lucent Technologies, and served for five years on the Board of Directors of the DuPont Company. She is an advisor to Riverwood Capital. Ms. Hopkins brings significant leadership experience at various multinational companies.

Erel N. Margalit

Under Erel's leadership JVP helped build numerous technology companies that are today global enterprises with traction in Israel, United States, Europe and Asia. Currently, Erel focuses on media technologies, communications & networking, and enterprise software. Erel plays a direct role in creating and managing the global investment strategy for the firm and actively participates on the boards of several portfolio companies. Consistently staying ahead of market trends, Erel anticipated the growing impact of media technologies and increased the firm’s investments in that area during the past few years. In addition to helping to orchestrate the $4.82 billion sale of Chromatis to Lucent Technologies in 2000, Erel successfully led fifteen exits with such companies as Netro, Precis, Scorpio and others.

Prior to founding JVP, Erel was the Director of Business Development for the City of Jerusalem under its former Mayor, Teddy Kollek. There he was instrumental in facilitating the arrival of more than 70 technology firms to the city, including Digital, IBM and many others. Erel holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Columbia University.

Alex Ott

Alex is an enterprise software veteran with significant operational and board level experience on four continents. He is the founder and owner of CrossContinentalVentures, a global advisory firm. His focus is primarily on enterprise software firms and technology; he currently serves on the board of several early and later stage private companies. Before founding CrossContinentalVentures in 2002, Alex participated in the explosive growth of Siebel Systems, where he ran the EMEA and Americas Regions and was a member of the Executive Committee. Prior to Siebel Systems, Alex spent almost a decade at SAP AG and SAP America, Inc., where he held various executive positions, including CEO International Markets, Senior VP Latin America and Senior VP Global Alliances and Marketing and was a member of the extended global executive board. Alex graduated from University BA Mannheim, Germany with a degree in Business Management.

Paul Wahl

Paul has held a number of senior executive roles in major enterprise software businesses and he brings extensive knowledge of global marketing and operations expansion to QlikTech. Until March 2003 Paul served as president and COO of Siebel Systems Inc., a leading provider of e-Business application solutions. Prior to that, Paul served as CEO of SAP America, Inc., and was an executive board member of SAP AG. During his eight year tenure at SAP, Paul oversaw operations in North, South, and Central America, as well as worldwide marketing and partner relationships. Paul also helped guide product development, was responsible for introducing R/3 worldwide and grew SAP America, Inc. to be the most profitable division of the world-renowned software company. Paul also serves on the Board of Directors at Lawson Software.
