Enterprise users for the most part tolerate their technology because in most cases it was inflicted on them. The real story is more complex. It doesn’t really matter if you love your ERP system or not, it ain’t going anywhere. When enterprise users have a choice of better technology, they take it. QlikView is an example of a company that has skyrocketing revenues because it is adopted by departments and then propagated through companies, in many cases displacing approved, not beloved, business intelligence technology.
