Self-Service Business Discovery Platform Enables Largest Car Rental Company in Spain to Analyze Fleet Utilization Trends to Improve Operations and Customer Service.

QlikTech (NASDAQ: QLIK), a leader in Business Discovery—user-driven Business Intelligence (BI) – today announced that Hertz Spain is using the QlikView Business Discovery platform to analyze trends and anticipate real-time seasonal and geographic market demands in order to better manage its fleet of vehicles.
With 350 employees and a turnover of 113 million Euros in 2010, the Spanish Hertz subsidiary required a solution that would allow them to anticipate new demands and market changes in real-time. This would also allow them to identify new offers and services that could improve the customer care and responsiveness, thereby increasing business results.
In collaboration with Mercanza, a QlikView partner, Hertz has deployed QlikView in the areas of Operations and Finance, creating several dashboards that allow business users to deliver high value-added support to Management Control. With users performing interactive analysis themselves, QlikView has minimized the time it takes in obtaining business critical information. Today, users are providing daily activity reports with detailed knowledge of the state of the company across all areas of the business.
